Shreya Tex Mills is headed jointly by Mr. Jitendrakumar Chopra and Mr. Amol Kanwade. Mr. Chopra has a background in the yarn trading business which was started by his father Mr. Goutamchand Chopra in 1975. Subsequently they also started trading in fabrics. Mr. Amol Kanwade for his part began his career as an employee at Shobha Textiles which is owned by his close relative.
The group started its business with two power looms in 1982 and now has 64 shuttle looms and 48 Picanol airjet machines (24 OMNI and 24 OMNIplus Summum). Early this year under Shreya Textiles they bought 24 Summum airjet machines and are very happy with the performance of these machines. The group companies produce around 1.5 million meters of fabric per month selling mainly in the domestic market.
Picanol is very proud to be associated with these entrepreneurs who have started realizing their true potential and are now keeping themselves up to date by investing in state-of-the-art technologies to meet the demands of domestic as well as international markets.
